April was a quiet month for wins again.
17th April – a bottle of ‘Citrus Magic’ liquid
soap arrived from ‘Yours’ magazine. Nice stuff but not that exciting.
22nd April – won a pair of tickets to see ‘Little
Voice’ at the Opera House, Manchester, starring Beverley Callard, Jess Robinson and Ray Quinn.
The girl who took the lead role had a good voice, but overall the production
felt a bit crude – though lots of young women laughed heartily and whooped all
the way through, so perhaps it’s just me.
I know the film dealt with seediness but it did not go for the cheap
laughs that this production aimed for.
